On the subject of financial services types exercising in a good cause, Outsider tips his fedora to BT Financial Group chief executive, Brad Cooper, who will be cycling nearly 330 kilometres to raise funds to fight cancer.
Like a good many other men of financial services who have indicated a penchant for wearing lycra, Cooper is taking part in the Westpac Tour de Cure 200 to raise much needed funds for cancer research and to help people with cancer and their families.
According to Cooper, he will be one amongst many keen cyclists riding for three days over 297kms.
His fund-raising page can be found at: www.tourdecure.com.au.
Outsider hopes the Tour de Cure is as successful as the Future2 Wheel Classic where the likes of Peter (the Bobbinator) Bobbin ride long distances for good causes.
With all this exercise being pursued by Outsider’s friends and acquaintances in the industry, he feels like he needs a cup of tea, a Bex and a nice lie down.
