Queensland-based fund, Sunsuper, has launched an online portal for financial advisers, while appointing two business development managers (BDM).
It came after around 18 months of entering the financial advice sector.
The fund has appointed Westpac/St George’s Alessandra Bertora, and financial adviser, William Burke as BDMs.
Bertora has more than 10 years’ experience in the financial advice industry, with her most recent specialist roles at Westpac/St George.
Burke had more than 10 years’ experience as a financial adviser, including roles at Citibank and Entrust Solutions. He also served as Chair of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) GenXT Queensland for three years.
The fund’s retail distribution and advice national manager, Anne Fuchs, said Sunsuper now had four BDMs executing its retail distribution strategy.
The fund has also launched Adviser Online, which allowed advisers to log in through its website to see their clients’ account information in real time through various devices including tablets and smartphones.
