State Street Corporation investment management arm, State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has expanded its Sydney sales team.
The company announced this week it had recruited two experienced sales managers – Syvanna Croyden and Amanda Conner who would be responsible for executing in-field sales.
The company’s announcement said both women would report to head of managed fund sales, Amy Johnston.
Croydon was previously a key account manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management while Connor joins State Street from Barclays.
Commenting on the appointments, SSGA managing director and head of distribution, Peter Mitchell said they were a significant move for SSGA, which three years ago expanded its traditional institutional client offering and ETF sales to include managed fund sales focussed on the distribution of active solutions in the advisory market.
