The former chief executive of Investec Bank, Geoffrey Levy, has been appointed as non-executive chairman of publicly-listed property and funds manager Cromwell Group in a move that sees the existing non-executive chairman, Paul Weightman, become chief executive.
Cromwell told the Australian Securities Exchange this week that as well being chief executive officer of the group, Weightman would remain on the board as an executive director.
Commenting on the move, Weightman said the appointment would add depth to the experience of the board and would allow him to concentrate on his role as chief executive officer.
