Schroders Investment Management has a new Australian chief executive officer, announcing today that it had appointed its head of product, Asia Pacific, Greg Cooper to take over the role from October.
Cooper will succeed Vipin Narula in the role, with Narula moving to assist Schroders chief executive, Asia-Pacific, Lester Gray, in pursuing a number of strategic growth initiatives in Asia.
Announcing the appointment today, Gray said Cooper knew the Australian business well and was a great candidate to take on the challenge of further expanding the business.
Cooper joined Schroders in 2000 after being recruited from Towers Perrin in Hong Kong, where he was head of actuarial and asset consulting.
