Online financial services groupSanfordhas signed Perth based BankWest to its Virtual Broker Retail service, allowing BankWest to provide online share trading to its customers.
BankWest will incorporate the services of Sanford’s retail website, including real time stock prices, SMS and email alerts, call centre and customer support and news and information services, into its badged product called BankWest Online Share Trading.
BankWest reviewed a number of services in the market before deciding on Sanford’s Virtual Broker.
BankWest transactional banking director Sean Saxon say the group was looking for more functionality than what was available through the online service it previously accessed through Hartley Poynton JDV.
Sanford’s Virtual Broker share trading product has been signed by 112 financial planning and accounting groups includingAXA,Count Wealth Accountants,LifespanandING’sOptimix, which signed up last month.
