Longstanding Aviva senior executive Grant Salmon has resigned from the company.
Salmon was for many years chief operating officer of the Australian business before transferring to Aviva’s Singapore Asia Pacific office in August last year.
There he was Asia Pacific business development director and responsible for strategy and business development.
An Aviva spokesperson confirmed Salmon has left the company “for personal reasons”.
Money Management tried to contract Salmon but he did not return our calls.
Salmon joined Aviva in November 2000 from Colonial, where he worked as an information technology consultant.
He had also consulted to Norwich Union (the former name of Aviva’s Australian operations) to work on Project Eclipse, which was a risk platform, prior to his appointment as group general manager, information technology, with responsibility for the Navigator platform.
