FRANCHISE dealer groupRetireInvesthas moved to bolster its ranks with two senior appointments three months after the firm’s parent, ING, announced plans to restructure its internal dealer operations.
The group has appointed Peter Ornsby as national franchise manager and Meaghan Morberger as alliance manager.
Ornsby, previously Jetset Travelworld franchise networks general manager, will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice franchise systems across the group.
While Morberger, who joins from Land Rover Australia where she was regional business manager, will assume responsibility for developing new corporate and alliance business opportunities.
RetireInvest general manager George Haramis says the experience of the pair will enhance the group’s position as a franchise network dealer group.
“Peter has spent over seven years in the highly developed franchise travel sector and he will bring an invaluable amount of specialist franchise expertise to the RetireInvest network.
“[While] Meaghan’s skills in building strong relationships with corporate clients and her background in workplace marketing make her ideally suited for developing this area of our business,” Haramis says.
In November last year,Money ManagementrevealedING’sdealer groupsTandem Financial Adviceand RetireInvest were subject to a widespread restructure, with a number of staff changes in the management, compliance and services functions of the dealer groups.
