Long serving St George executive Jack Regan is to take on the top job at Hill-ross Financial Services.
Regan will join AMP’s premium financial planning group after departing GIO Fund Managers, the financial planning arm of GIO Financial Services, which was yes-terday merged with AMP Financial Planning.
Regan had been general manager of GIO Fund Managers for about a year, following a short-term assignment at IOOF and a lengthy career at St George, where he headed up the bank’s distribution efforts.
Regan’s appointment also follows the resignation of former Hillross boss Jona-than Harrison, who left the group to take on a product development role with AMP Financial Services, as general manager of customer solutions.
Deputy managing director and national network manager Anne Fitzgerald had been performing the day to day running of the group until Regan’s appointment was an-nounced.
Hillross has about $4 billion under advice, with about 190 financial planners hanging the Hillross shingle in front of their practices.
