Former Australian Olympic swimmer Kieren Perkins has been appointed National Australia Bank Private Wealth state manager for Queensland.
Having served in this role since May, he will manage the daily operations of the private banking and wealth management business in the region with a particular focus on continuing to build the private wealth strategy.
Perkins was most recently Queensland's head of private clients and business development for NAB Private Wealth.
Following his retirement from professional swimming in 2000, he was director of Pain Australia and rogenSi, and consulted to NAB before joining the private bank in 2009.
