Perennial Value and Daintree Capital have announced an appointment of Daniel Birch to the position of head of institutional sales, where he will be responsible for marketing and selling Perennial’s equity and risk management products as well as Daintree’s fixed income products.
He joined from OTCX where he served as Asia pacific managing director and prior to that he was a senior business development manager at Russell Investments.
Perennial’s managing director, John Murray said: “We welcome Dan to Perennial and Daintree team. His depth of experience will benefit us greatly.
“We look forward to seeing Dan play a pivotal role in expanding our investment capabilities throughout the Australian market.”
The appointment follows the departure from Perennial of Brian Thomas in December.
