Former Patriot Asset Management Australian share and small companies funds have been rebranded and relaunched following the acquisition in April of the asset manager by Ironbark Asset Management.
Investment management of the Ironbark Karara Australian Share Fund and Ironbark Karara Australian Small Companies Fund has been transitioned to Karara Capital, Ironbark’s strategic partner.
Patriot’s small companies portfolio manager and managing director, Nick Greenway, has joined the Karara small companies investment team.
Van Eyk has highly rated Karara’s Australian shares strategy and Ironbark chief executive Chris Larsen said the asset manager has a consistent record of adding value to portfolios in all market conditions.
Both funds invest in Australian equity stocks with an investment objective to outperform their respective benchmarks before fees over rolling four-year periods. They are available on a range of platforms, including BT, Macquarie, AUSMAQ, ASGARD, IOOF, Netwealth and Synergy.
