Ord Minnett has appointed former BBY head of research and sales Richard Wolff to head of emerging company institutional equity sales.
The appointment follows the recent arrival of Tim Gunning as chief executive.
Wolff will be based in Sydney and responsible for servicing Ord Minnett’s institutional clients in the emerging company sector, including its trading and execution capabilities, company research and capital raising activities.
Wolff has also held senior roles in institutional sales and small cap analysis at Aegis Equities Research, BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch and Bell Potter.
“Richard is a key hire in an area of business that we will be expanding in the coming 12 months and beyond,” Gunning said.
