Clients of ANZ’s OnePath will now earn Qantas frequent flyer points through the payment of eligible life insurance premiums as part of an exclusive agreement.
Policy payments will earn one point per dollar paid up to 20,000 points per year on OneCare, OneCare Super and World of Protection policies, OnePath announced.
The program will also be available to eligible customers of the online EasyProtect range and other direct life insurance products.
New customers will be able to register their membership details with OnePath when they apply for their new policy through an input field in their life insurance application forms and online software.
Gavin Pearce, general manager of OnePath’s insurance division, said the program is a reward for customer loyalty.
“We wanted to make the whole insurance experience more rewarding — starting from policy inception. That’s why we’re proud to partner with one of the leading points-based loyalty programs in Australia, which has over 7.4 million members,” he said.
