Sydney-based software vendor Omnium has extended its use of the latest technology gadgets by launching the first iPad application for comparing, presenting and selling life insurance.
Omnium said the new app enables financial advisers and brokers to compare premiums from 12 major insurers in Australia, across all five life insurance types.
The founder and director of Omnium, Dr David King, said the application could also send summaries of quotes back to clients.
“We have leveraged off both the iPad and our own existing life insurance technology to create something imaginative that advisers will use to present a product that is traditionally perceived as complex by a client, to be more seamless and engaging,” King added.
The new iPad app, priced at roughly $10 per month, came months after the firm launched its iPhone application for comprehensive life insurance quotes.
