The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIF) has launched a website for young insurance professionals to register for educational, social and networking events, chat to other young professionals, hear from industry partners, and find out about new developments in the industry.
The website is part of a ‘Generation i’ program to provide young professionals with a voice in the industry and a sense of community. The program also offers a range of networking events for professionals across Australia and New Zealand.
ANZIF chief executive Joan Fitzpatrick said: “We believe that creating a stronger sense of belonging and sharing through this vibrant Generation i community for young insurance professionals is an important step to improving our industry’s ability to retain them as committed employees.”
ANZIF has also launched an accelerated compliance course for life insurance professionals to provide them with Australian Securities and Investments Commission Tier 1 compliance in less than seven weeks. The first course will begin on October 9.
