Unified Healthcare Group (UHG) has announced a new technology with the potential to reduce the cycle time for the collection of medical reports for applications submitted by planners to insurers.
UHG said it engages most leading insurers such as AXA, AMP, Zurich, Westpac, Macquarie and OnePath and has enlisted doctors and medical practice managers to pilot the program in Sydney and Melbourne.
The technology will streamline the collection of medical information required by life insurance companies, reducing the time it takes to process a new policy, benefiting planners and their clients, according to UHG managing director Brendan Carp.
