US-based insurer, MetLife this week announced the appointment of its new Australian chief executive — former BT Financial Group senior executive, Deanne Stewart.
Stewart succeeds Damien Greene who stepped into the role early this year on an interim basis following the departure of Marc Lieberman.
The company said Stewart would be starting her new role in mid-July and would also be joining the Aisa Ladership team of Metlife and directly reporting to Metlife's Senior Vice President and Head of Designated Markets and Health, Asia, Dr Nirmala Menon.
Stewart was general manager, Super, Marketing and Direct at BT Financial Group.
