National Australia Bank (NAB) has secured former Australian Capital Equity investment director David Hornery as its executive general manager of corporate and specialised business.
Hornery will be responsible for NAB’s corporate banking activities and will continue to build on the bank’s specialisation strategy.
Prior to Australian Capital Equity, Hornery held a number of roles with ANZ including managing director of global capital markets and managing director of its Asian business.
Before ANZ, Hornery spent eight years with Macquarie Bank in leadership roles across fixed income and derivatives.
Hornery replaces David Gall, who is on secondment to the NextGen project at NAB.
