MLC Corporate Solutionshas significantly bolstered its adviser support capabilities following the recent appointment of eight additional staff to its Workplace Solutions team.
The new staff members – two senior consultants, four consultants and two head office-based staff – will focus on providing assistance and support to workplace-based advisers.
“MLC recognises the growing demand for advice in the workplace and has developed a Workplace Model that provides advisers with access to people, processes and tools to support them in being successful in the corporate market,” says MLC Corporate Solutions general manager John James.
The two senior consultants Robert Coulter and Adam McKenzie are southern region-based, while the four consultants, George Katrantzis, Nicole Kelly, Bridget Thompson and Raymond Kan, are providing national support to advisers.
Meanwhile the two appointments to head office, Leonie Thompson and Peter Forster, are newly created roles to provide advisers with education and solution design services.
Prior to joining MLC, both Coulter and McKenzie worked for two years as senior consultants withinAsgard’s Corporate Superannuation team.
George Katrantzis (consultant, southern region) was previously a business development manager with Asgard, Nicole Kelly (consultant, northern region) was a relationship manager withBT Financial Group, Bridget Thompson (consultant, northern region) was a superannuation relationship manager with ANZ while Raymond Kan (consultant, northern region) was an internal group appointment having worked for MLC’s AdvantEdge operations.
Meanwhile the two head office appointments are Leonie Thompson (programs and development consultant) and Peter Forster (solution design consultant).
Thompson was previously contracting as a learning and development consultant at both NRMA and Westpac, while Forster was most recently working within MLC’s corporate strategy team.
