The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) kicked off the Sydney leg of its Oceania Roadshow yesterday, headed by international guest and MDRT first vice president Walton Rogers.
The roadshow, which commenced in Brisbane on Wednesday, is designed to give members and non-members a chance to share professional skills and advice.
Rogers told Money Management that planners could take away practice management ideas and guidance on how to best deal with clients from the road show.
“Most of our consumers … aren’t real savvy, and that’s just because they don’t spend all day doing it.
“So we try to help our people, train our people so they can help the consumer make intelligent decisions,” he said.
“Reaching out to all MDRT members and industry organisations is a priority for MDRT, as we are committed to communicating the importance and value of comprehensive financial planning,” he said.
