Based on submissions of real Statements of Advice delivered to clients, dealer group Matrix Planning Solutions has awarded three financial planners with its Good Advice Award at its annual professional development event.
Interestingly, the group said one of the winning plans did not include any product recommendations.
Recent Association of Financial Advisers Rising Star award winner Andrew Shakespeare from JSA Financial Planning Group took out the Matrix Good Advice award, along with Michael Coorey from Strategic Planning Solutions and Mike Ridge from Brisbane-based Financial Success-on Planning.
Matrix managing director Rick Di Cristoforo said each of the plans contained all the hallmarks of strategic advice.
“Advice was tailored to the client, showed options and alternatives and made a compelling case for why the advice suited the client’s needs,” he said.
