Macquarie Financial Services has restructured the senior ranks of its adviser services division and is finalising a major downsizing of its marketing and business development ranks.
Head of distribution Tim Farrelly has taken on a broader role within adviser services to encompass adviser distribution, adviser broking services and Macquarie Portfolio Services.
Former national sales manager at adviser services, Jeanette Shaw moves into Farrelly’s former role as head of distribution. The musical chairs continues as former NSW state sales manager Jason Huddy takes over from Shaw as national sales manager.
Meanwhile Former head of adviser services Bruce Terry is to move across to head up the fledgling Macquarie Strategic Financial Planning group.
The shake-up follows a review of the group’s operations which included a major review of the marketing and business development divisions. The final structure of the group will be announced in the next few weeks.
