Macquarie Life has appointed Dave Evans as national key account manager, where he will be responsible for maintaining and developing alliances and dealer relationships across Australia.
Evans has more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. He will join Macquarie Life from Tower Australia, where he currently holds the same role. His position at Tower will be filled by Niall McConville from AIA. Evans was previously Tower’s state manager for Queensland.
“Dave has significant experience in the insurance industry, and is well known for both his knowledge of the sector and his strong relationships within it,” said Macquarie Life division director Adam Lane.
“Ensuring that we maintain close relationships and open lines of communication with our distribution partners is of the utmost importance to us to make sure we are providing the service and support they need to help grow their business,” he added.
Evans said: “I had heard a lot about Macquarie Life within the industry, and recognised that it was gaining a strong reputation for leading the field in terms of product innovation and also its service and support ethic. I’m delighted to be part of the team, and am looking forward to working closely with our distribution partners.”
