Lonsec has lost a key executive to Perpetual with the departure of Amanda Gillespie.
Perpetual announced today that Gillespie had been appointed as general manager, client solutions and strategy within its Perpetual Investments division.
Gillespie had been a group chief executive at Lonsec for the past three years and would be responsible for Perpetual Investments’ business strategy, managing strategic initiatives and business priorities, and leading the Client Solutions and Strategy team.
Commenting on the appointment to the newly-created role, Perpetual Investments group executive, David Lane said it would enable the company to have a sharp focus on meeting the changing needs of its clients and exploring further opportunities for growth.
“This role will enable us to have a sharp focus on meeting the changing needs of our clients, and further exploring growth opportunities for the business,” Lane said.
