Run in partnership with research partner Lonsec Research & Ratings, the Fund Manager of the Year Awards is an independent and whole-of-market awards program to celebrate excellence in the funds management industry.
Now in its 37th year, the premier awards program recognises those who have made significant contributions to advancing the industry, celebrating professionals at all stages of their careers, from rising stars to senior leaders.
Speaking on the partnership, Lorraine Robinson, CEO of Lonsec Research and Ratings, said: “This is the third year running that we have partnered with Momentum Media to present the Fund Manager of the Year Awards – and we are thrilled to continue our involvement with the awards.

Lonsec will determine the group finalists, with over 21 group categories and three individual categories on offer.
Some of the group categories include Global Equity Fund of the Year, Multi-Asset Fund of the Year, Private Markets Fund of The Year, Diversified Fixed Income Fund of The Year, and Fund of the Year.
Eligible professionals and fund managers are encouraged to submit for the individual categories, including BDM of the Year, Marketer of the Year, and Rising Star of the Year.

The awards program, in conjunction with event stakeholders Money Management, Momentum Media and Lonsec, has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing and benchmarking Australia’s leading fund management professionals and sets the standard for the top fund managers and professionals in the Australian marketplace.
All professionals that meet the eligibility criteria from across Australia’s finance industry are encouraged to participate in the awards program.
Submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague by Thursday, 3 April 2025, for a chance at national recognition.
