Former Tyndall investment director Doug Little has emerged as the chief of new boutique funds management group Constellation Capital Management.
Little, who departed Tyndall following the takeover of the group by Royal & SunAlliance, has been named managing director of Constellation which is chaired by former NSW Treasury secretary Percy Allan.
Constellation will aim to exploit gaps within both the wholesale and retail markets. The Qantas superannuation fundhas put up $7.5 in equity for the new group and Qantas superannuation general manager Mark Boesen will sit on the Constellation board.
Little’s appointment to the top job will also be reflected in the investment strategy at Constellation. Little has long been a driver of Tyndall’s value-based style, a style which shall be continued at the new operation.
