Financial services software company, knowIT Group has expanded its team to 10 with the announcement of four new appointments this week.
KnowIT chief executive, Wayne Wilson said he believed the appointments would enhance the technical and legislative knowledge, analysis and support that the business offered financial advisers through its Desk Caddie online tool.
The company said it had recruited former ANZ Wealth content and design analyst, Rob Lavery as a technical manager, along with three subject matter experts – Kieren Dell (investments), Stuart Milne (investments) and Tim Miller (self-managed superannuation funds [SMSFs]).
Both Dell and Milne are founders in consultancy firm, Praxis Partner but previously held senior roles in the industry including at Colonial First State, Zurich Financial Services and the Senior Australians Equity Release Association of Lenders (SEQUAL).
Miller started his financial services career at the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in 1990 and moved to its superannuation unit in 1994, providing superannuation assistance to employers, employees and tax professionals.
He has also worked at Cavendish Superannuation leading the retirement income and technical compliance teams, and was head of education at AMP SMSF, before becoming an independent SMSF trainer, presenter and mentor.
