Former Barclays Global Investors managing director, Katherine Allchin, has been appointed to the board of ethical funds manager, UCA Funds Management.
Allchin’s appointment was confirmed by UCA Funds Management chairman, John Etherington, who said she would be joining as a non-executive director.
Allchin was a managing director at Barclays Global Investors for 11 years, and in 2010, founded Vinva Investment Management — a boutique Australian and Asian equity funds management business, with $20 billion in funds under management.
“Katherine will be an asset to the board — bringing with her years of experience not only in funds management, but a wealth of knowledge of investment markets, marketing strategy, and risk and compliance,” Etherington said.
