InvestorWeb Research, in an attempt to increase its brand awareness in the market, has signed a deal to offer its full range of research services to students of financial planning education providerIntegratec.
The research will be available to students on the investment planning and financial plan construction and review courses provided by Integratec – part of the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services.
InvestorWeb’s Robert Argieri says the commercial arrangement will provide IWL with greater exposure among those studying to meet PS 146 compliance standards, providing them with an awareness of the product suite the research house has available and how it can support them as financial planners.
Integratec’s Louise Trevaskis says the research will give students a taste of the reality they will find in the workplace.
She says that rather than dealing with something like an “XYZ fund” in a text book as in the past, students will be able to deal with funds existing in the market to better prepare them to deal with real clients.
Argieri says this is the first foray in this capacity into education, and that IWL may consider expanding the services to other education providers if they were interested.
He says that IWL had been talking with Integratec about the arrangement for a few months, and that IWL sees value in the relationship due to the fact the latter is one of the premier education providers in the market.
