IRESS’ managing director of the UK, Simon Badley, has announced he would step down from his role and leave the company at the end of June after five years.
In an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange, IRESS chief executive, Andrew Walsh, said Badley’s replacement would be made after consideration of internal and external candidates.
“I thank Simon for his dedication to IRESS over many years,” Walsh said. “He played a pivotal role in IRESS’ successful 2013 acquisition of Avelo, where he was chief executive. He leaves IRESS and our United Kingdom business in a strong position for continued growth.”
Badley said he felt privileged to lead the company in the UK during a period of significant growth.
“I am proud of the strong position IRESS has in the United Kingdom and I wish IRESS and its people all the best for the future,” he said.
