IRESS has appointed Andrew Todd as its new chief technical officer (CTO) as the company’s long-serving CTO, David Walker, has moved to a new role of a chief architect.
Prior to his appointment, Todd served as a chief information officer (CIO) at IOOF and Australian Wealth Management where he was in charge of large technology and operational change as well as efficiency programs.
Additionally, he held senior roles with Standard & Poor’s where he served as a head of information technology for the Pacific region. In the past, Todd also worked for PricewaterhouseCooper and Volkswagen Financial Services in management and business roles.
IRESS’ chief executive, Andrew Walsh, said: “We are delighted Andrew is joining IRESS. With a strong track record in technology and delivery, he is well placed to continue strengthening IRESS’ position as a leading supplier of technology to clients in Australia and internationally.”
Walsh also announced that Walker, who would step down from the executive team in January to assume his new role as chief architect, would work in a part-time role focused on the technical design and architecture of IRESS’ systems and solutions.
“We are pleased to retain David’s skills and experience within IRESS as part of a smooth transition,” he added.
