Investec Australia has made another senior appointment to its corporate advisory team.
The company announced that it had appointed former Credit Suisse executive, Anthony Lazzoppina, as a managing director of the business.
It said Lassoppina’s appointment followed on from the recent senior Investec hires of Christopher Stefanovski and Uyi Ighodaro.
The announcement said the appointments reflected the company’s move to position itself as a leading specialist in advisory, debt and merchant banking expertise.
Lazzoppina will work alongside Ben Smith who heads up the corporate advisory team.
He was previously co-head of industrials at Credit Suisse, and prior to that he held the roles of head of mergers and acquisitions, and head of industrials for Barclays Capital Investment Banking team.
