Fund manager Invesco has promoted Jonathon Crook to managing director, head of client relations.
In the new role, he would lead the Invesco team responsible for servicing institutional and wholesale clients across Australia and New Zealand.
Crook joined Invesco in 2014 from Vanguard and had held a variety of sales roles during those eight years, including director of institutional sales and head of sales.
Prior to joining Invesco, he was an institutional sales manager at Vanguard and spent a decade at Perpetual Investments. This included time as general manager for fixed income and general manager for income and multi-sector sales.
He had more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry and held a Bachelor of Economics from the University of NSW and a graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment Markets from the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
Global fund manager Invesco managed US$1.4 trillion ($2.1 trillion) and operated in 120 countries with over 8,000 employees.
