Towers Watson has appointed Danny Howell as head of wealth management for Asia to boost the company’s advisory services to wealth management clients.
In his new role, Howell will strengthen the company’s relationships with a broad range of clients including banks, securities firms, family offices, private banks and insurance companies.
He has more than 18 years experience in financial services, having spent time in senior wealth management and business development roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and National Australia Bank. He was most recently general manager for CBA (North Asia).
Towers Watson Investment Asia head of investment Naomi Denning said that Howell’s appointment reflected the firm’s goal of bringing to a broader wealth management client base its expertise in investment advice in areas such as manager research and due diligence, portfolio structuring, governance, strategic asset allocation and risk analysis.
