In an effort to drive its growth strategy, Guardian Advice has expanded its senior managerial team with the appointments of John Gray, Patrick Casey and Richard Johnson.
Gray has joined Guardian as state manager NSW/ACT where he will drive practice growth in the region, as well as supporting their acquisition and succession plans.
Before his most recent position as head of national accounts for Commonwealth Bank's core equity services business, he held vice president roles with JP Morgan and senior roles in product and sales with ANZ.
Patrick Casey has been appointed national distributions manager and will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives within the business.
He will also work closely with Guardian's national advisory council to ensure its adviser services meet the needs of its member base.
With 10 years' financial services experience, he held senior roles in distribution, practice development and operations at Colonial First State.
As the new dealer operations manager, Johnson will help lead the research, dealer operations and adviser desktop solutions team for Suncorp Life licensees, including Guardian.
Having spent nine years with Suncorp, he previously managed Asteron Life's call centre and retention team.
Guardian plans to grow its adviser network to more than 200 financial advisers by 2015.
