The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) has announced the appointment of former Ernst & Young partner Dr Jules Gribble to the position of senior adviser, policy strategy.
Gribble has 25 years of experience as a consultant, with a keen interest in regulation, research and academia. His areas of expertise include defined benefits, unit pricing and related operational issues.
AFSA chief executive Pauline Vamos said Gribble already has a long list of projects, given all that is happening in the industry, particularly in relation to the Cooper Report.
“He will be working closely with AFSA members and key stakeholders, particularly our retirement outcomes policy committee and our member benefits projections working group to drive policy and benchmarking around costs and fees,” Vamos added.
The new appointment brings the number of the association’s research and advocacy team experts to eight.
Gribble will be located in the soon to be opened Melbourne ASFA office.
