Thus, he believes that the Association of Independently Owned Financial Planners should not be feeling too slighted about having, apparently, not been invited to meetings involving the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority and other organisations such as the Financial
Planning Association and the Association of Financial Advisers.
Of course, there are many clubs within which Outsider knows he is unwelcome and, often enough, that is because of something he has said or written or because, well, your humble correspondent is not the sort of chap you would want to have in your club.
Perhaps, though, the reason the AIOFP was left off the invitation list to the next round of discussions with FASEA are the headlines attributed to its statements such as “FASEA FIASCO” and “FASEA a disaster destroying the industry”.
Outsider believes it is all politics anyway, and will again rely on the wisdom of the great Groucho:
