Another law firm has moved to increase its reach into the financial services industry, with Gadens announcing this week it had appointed Banking and Finance specialist Anthony Walsh to partner.
Walsh returned to Gaden's Sydney office in late 2012 after spending five years practicing in London, including a period in-house with Societe Generale.
The company said Walsh had worked with a diverse range of international and domestic clients which included the Commonwealth Bank, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, MNY Mellon, and the Commercial bank of China.
Gadens' national head of Banking & Finance Paul Armstrong said Walsh's breadth of expertise and depth of experience in Australia and overseas made him an excellent appointment and complemented Gaden's strategy to position itself as the leading law firm in the domestic lending space.
