State Street Global Advisors’ head of Asia-Pacific, Lochiel Crafter, has been elected to the Financial Services Council (FSC) board.
FSC chairman, Greg Cooper, said with more than 25 years of financial services experience, Crafter brings knowledge in asset management, and investment research in Australia and Singapore.
Prior to his current role, Crafter was State Street’s head of investments, Asia-Pacific, chief executive officer of the Australian Rewards Investment Alliance, and was State Street’s chief investment officer, Asia-Pacific.
Crafter has also worked in various roles across the sector for Westpac Investment Management, Commonwealth Investment Management, Mercury Asset Management, State Super Investment Management Corporation, and Ord Minnett Securities.
