Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Woon Pin Chong as managing director, Franklin Real Asset Advisors (FRAA), responsible for the Asia Pacific region.
In his new role, he would lead FRAA’s Asia Pacific investment team in research, analysis and transactions of private real estate investment opportunities in the region.
He would be also in charge of defining market insight and investment themes as well as development and marketing of real estate investments products and strategies, with a focus on Asian markets.
Chong, who would be based in Singapore, has more than two decades of experience and expertise in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, he served as a managing director at Savant Global Capital and was also Asia managing director for Australian investment manager Centuria Capital.
Additionally, Chong held senior roles at Lend Lease Investment Management and Colliers International.
