The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has extended its free online advice service to consumers until July 31, 2009, following an abundance of queries.
More than 360 Australians have asked a panel of financial planners for general financial advice, free of charge, since the online service, ‘Ask an Expert’ began during the FPA’s financial planning week in May this year.
“Now that we’ve entered the new financial year, people may have many questions about tax, their super and finances in general,” FPA chief executive Jo-Anne Bloch said.
To date, Australians have sought advice about topics including superannuation, mortgages and the first home owners grant, retirement, tax budgeting and investments.
