At various times and in various venues throughout the industry, Outsider has witnessed Rich wearing everything from a Santa Claus costume (Outsider unwittingly sat on his knee) to a clown suit (very apt) and very often a construction worker’s safety helmet (because portfolio construction can be hazardous).
So it is understandable that Outsider thought he had espied Rich at the Financial Services Council’s Leaders Summit when he saw a chap sporting very loud red checked pants, a colourful polo shirt and a matching very loud, red checked flat cap. Outsider thought Rich looked every bit the colourful golfer. Except, it wasn’t Rich.
No, what Outsider believed to be Rich happened to be a couple of EMLife staffers manning the company’s booth at the Leaders Summit while seeking to convince delegates to play putt putt golf.
Outsider is sad to report that when he did find Rich at the Leaders Summit he was soberly dressed but willing to acknowledge that he could see merit in the garb of the two EMLifers.
