Former AMP and AXA adviser, Rob Thomas has joined Fitzpatricks Private Wealth as manager of advice excellence.
The move announced yesterday follows a period of growth by Fitzpatricks that has seen Hobart-based firm Main Street Financial Solutions, Perth-based David Barber, and former Centric Wealth adviser, Alisa Honeyman, join the network in recent months.
Fitzpatricks chief executive, John Woodley said the newly formed role of manager, advice excellence, had been created to enrich the group’s integrated support services for all advisers and their clients.
“We are delighted to welcome Rob who is a long-serving and prominent financial services professional, having worked in strategic roles for many household financial services and advice brands in Australia,” Woodley said.
“Rob joins at a critical juncture for our firm as we expand operations around the country.
“Synchronising the high standards of our core advice philosophy, as well as the delivery of the practical, technical, governance and advice tools, is a key task for Rob in his new role.”
