AMP Financial Services has reshuffled some of its senior management as it creates new roles to support a new operating model for its advice businesses.
The group has given AMP career man Andrew Hobern (pictured) the newly created role of director of business performance within AMP Financial Planning, Advice and Services (FPAS), while Deborah Sneddon has also made the internal move to the new position of FPAS director of operations.
The appointments follow that of Scott Machin as director of advice earlier this month.
Hobern has been with AMP for more than 25 years, and in his most recent role of director of wealth management products has been credited with the design and launch of AMP’s new Flexible Super product.
In his new role he will be responsible for driving growth in AMP Financial Planning, Hillross and Horizons practices, as well as identifying possible mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliance opportunities.
Sneddon was most recently IT manager for planner technology with AMP.
In her new role, Sneddon will lead process and technology support, commissions and register management, practice integration and the risk and compliance teams.
