The managing director of Equity Trustees, Peter Williams, will retire at the end of the year.
Williams has been managing director of Equity Trustees for seven years. He will continue in his role until a new managing director is appointed towards the end of the year.
Chairman Tony Killen thanked Williams for his leadership, during which time the company’s capitalisation quadrupled. The company established offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane under William’s leadership.
“Mr Williams has driven a complete repositioning of the company over the past seven years, characterised by strong growth, both organically as well as by acquisition, and substantial investment in people and business processes,” he said.
