Legal firm DLA Phillips Fox has moved to beef up its financial markets strength in New Zealand, announcing the appointment of high-profile financial markets specialist Sue Brown as a partner in its Wellington office.
The company said Brown was best known for her recent role as head of strategy, innovation and engagement at the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) and had more than 25 years local and international experience in financial markets and law, including in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
It said that Brown would provide expert advice on corporate, regulatory and government issues.
