Former Lend Lease Corporate Services chief executive Anthony Patterson will take on the role of distribution manager with Colonial First State, recently vacated by Colonial rising star Rob Adams.
Adams, who has been in the UK for the past six months on secondment, vacated the position to head up the UK operations of Colonial First State as chief executive officer.
Colonial First State Investments chief executive Chris Cuffe says that Adams has made a valuable contribution to the UK business and considers his appointment “a boost to the future success of Colonial First State UK”.
Patterson has spent the last 10 years at Lend Lease as director of investment services and chief executive of Lend Lease Corporate Services. He brings to Colonial experience from managing the main distribution arm of Lend Lease prior to the sale of MLC to the National Australia Bank.
Patterson will take charge of the distribution at Colonial and will cover distribution strategies across the retail, institutional, master funds and technical tiers.
Working with Patterson in a new role will be Joanna Wagstaff, who has been promoted to general manager, marketing and communications. She will be responsible for the company’s brand, marketing and product development projects.
