The Financial Services Council (FSC) has broken new ground by ensuring continual professional development (CPD) points will be available to delegates attending its annual conference on the Gold Coast, August 1-3.
The FSC confirmed the availability of CPD points this week after having conducted successful negotiations with the relevant professional bodies.
The FSC conference has been titled "Mission", defining the objective of adapting to the current round of industry reforms.
Among those scheduled to address the conference are the Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation, Bill Shorten, the Opposition spokesman on Financial Services, Senator Mathias Cormann and leading economic analyst, Robert Reich.
