An online compliance forum aimed at meeting the needs of Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holders has been launched by Holley Nethercote Commercial Lawyers along with sister business Compact Compliance and Corporate Training.
The forum will include compliance professionals, directors and responsible managers providing answers to questions relating to financial services regulation and consumer credit issues, according to Holley Nethercote.
Initial conversation threads relate to record keeping requirements; unsolicited agreements and anti-competitive practices; and training and professional development obligations, said Holley Nethercote partner Paul Durham.
Visitors can introduce new themes, he added.
“We thought it would be useful to create a forum that provides specific answers to common compliance questions so that professionals responsible for ensuring their businesses adhere to all necessary regulatory requirements have a quick first point of reference to see what the current state of play is,” he said.
